I Want to add Music to my Videos – How Do I Do That? (iPhone/iPad)
I’ve gotten this question from enough business owners / solopreneurs that I think it’s worth writing a blog to address it. Now, with all of the technology out there, everyone seems to have their own system. Some of us edit on Macs. Some on PCs. Some film and edit on phones or tablets, which leads to both iPhone and Android processes. For simplicity, this article is only showcasing how to add music to videos you are editing on your iPhone. If you edit on your computer in iMovie, I will create a separate blog for that, in the meantime I do have this video about editing in general in iMovie.…
Three Ways to Turn your Vertical Photo into a Horizontal Image in Final Cut Pro X (video)
Vertical, Square, Horizontal… there are so many formats for our media nowadays! It’s hard to know what format you need when going into content capture mode. Katie’s Top Ten Resources for Finding Music for Videos
So you make a cool video and you pop in your favorite song and try to upload it to Youtube… only for it to be BLOCKED. Because Youtube has determined that the content you used does not belong to you. If you had wanted to keep your favorite song in your video and do so legally, you would have…
Why and When would we use a Two Camera Shoot?
I just got asked this question “I’ve noticed a lot of people using two cameras including a shot of themselves on the side when they’re actually facing the other camera, why?” Great question! And it’s one I’ve taken for granted. My answer was, “I do it because it looks cool!” But that’s not entirely accurate. Why does it look cool? Because it accomplishes something. Things make us feel certain ways BECAUSE there are deeper meanings, usually subconscious ones as to why we like them and why they resonate. “That movie made me emotional!” – it sure did, but why? Because of the music, the timing, the way the shots were…
Where can I find free royalty free music for my video projects? On Youtube of course! (VIDEO)

I know these are usually tutorials, but I encountered this very issue with my video editing and projects and I thought it would be pertinent to share it with you. Happy Editing! Katie
