Video marketing is a pretty broad term but for me, it means creating videos that businesses and nonprofits can actually use to share who they are, what they do and why it's important.

Website videos, social media content, testimonials, services, products, events, behind the scenes... basically anything that helps people understand what you do and get a better feel for the people behind it.

If you want to see a few examples of what I mean, comment VIDEO and we’ll happily send some over.

You're not trying to say everything to everyone, you're just being clear on who you’re talking to and what you want them to feel when they watch.

When that part is solid, everything else just carries it further. That’s when video stops feeling like content and starts feeling like an extension of your brand.

There’s a lot of thought that goes into making something feel simple, natural, and easy to watch. And that’s part of what I love about creating video.

Need some of those little 30-second videos for your own business? I’d be happy to make them! My DMs are always open.

Big thank you to @feltedskystudio and #NeedleFeltingJoy for continuing to bring me back and trusting me with your videos. I always have such a good time creating with these guys, and apparently I get to expand my social circle while I’m at it. 😂 Hanging with the spideys and @amykimballphotography is so fun!

But most of the time, what actually makes something work isn’t the obvious stuff.

It’s the thinking behind it, the intention, and the way everything connects.

We got such a beautiful day for this shoot, and it was nice getting to update a few shots from our last one together. No sense in running winter ads in summer right? Although it is Michigan and hail is not unheard of year-round... 🥶

And while we're replacing some footage, it's also time for me to replace something else...
